One Primary School with Nursery and K. G. namely “Sri Aurobindo Education Centre, Habra”, was started in the year 2009. Name of the school was selected by  Pranab Kumar Bhattacharyay, Director, Physical Education Department of Ashram. Initially, the School was started in our Guest House. After completion of construction of the school building on our own land,  very close to the centre, was inaugurated by Dr. B.B. Dutta of Shillong Centre on 27.5.2012. Thereafter, the school was shifted to its own building from  the Guest House.

Besides teaching of academic lessons, the School is imparting teachings on the life and activities of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo. The School is now of 13 years old.
