Sacred Relics
On 4th August, 1996 Sacred Relics was laid beneath the Service Tree
The mentioned letter contained formal approval of the Trustees for installation of RELICS at the site of the Matrimandir.
The formal application for The Sacred Relics was submitted by Shri Gobindolal Chakraborty on 13.4.1988. Subsequently, it was approved by the Trustees through a letter dated 8th May, 1988.
However, on 4th August, 1996 the Sacred Relics was laid beneath the Service Tree, just close to the main building of the Matrimandir. The sapling of the Service Tree was brought from the Ashram and planted at the place where it stands now spreading wide its branches to protect the Lord constantly from the Sun.
